I.K.Y. Fellowships - 1999

The Foundation of National Grants (Idryma Kratikwn Ypotrofiwn -IKY-) has announced fellowships for the following positions:

PhD Fellowships:

Astronomy, 1 position
Astrophysics, 2 positions
Observational Astronomy, 1 position
General Theory of Relativity, 1 position
Near Earth Environment, 1 position

PostDoc Fellowships:

One (1) postdoctoral Fellowships have also been announced in the general field of:

Astronomy/Astrophysics.

The deadline for application is February 19, 1999.

The written examinations for the graduate student scholarships will take place in Athens (Arsakeion School at Psychiko) on April 2-3. The selection for the Post-Doc position will be undertaken by the Executive Committee of I.K.Y.
