Title: Dynamic structure of a stellar envelope under the
magnetic induction and radiation fields
Author(s): M.F. Montero, A.M. Platzeck (Poster) ABSTRACT
In
this paper we show a perturbative dinamical analysis of the cool
envelope of Be stars under the magnetic induction, radiation and
gravitational fields. We consider the magnetohydrostatic model by
Ringuelet-Iglesias (RI) as a first order approximation. For small
perturbations this method gives a density distribution similar to that
obtained by the RI model. When the perturbation is increased, the
numerical results show a lower density region at the poles.
Nevertheless, we do not obtain a thin disk like other authors. |
