1. Short News
The General Council of Hel.A.S. is happy to announce the location and dates of the 18th Hellenic Astronomical Conference: it will be held in Thessaloniki between June 28 and July 1, 2027, at the Aristotle University Research Dissemination Center. More details will become available in the near future.
All members are encouraged to review the minutes of the 45th General Assembly, as well as the minutes of July 6 and July 21 of the General Council of Hel.A.S.
2. Summer School of Hel.A.S.
The 6th Astrophysics Summer School of the Society, titled “Multi-messenger Astronomy“, will take place at the Department of Physics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens between 24-28 August 2026. More information about the summer school is available here.
3. Call for EAS 2027 sessions
The call for for Expressions of Interest to organise Symposia, Special Sessions, and Lunch Sessions at the EAS Annual Meeting 2027 is now open and available here. The meeting will take place in Vienna, Austria, from 21–25 June 2027. The submission deadline for symposia or other session proposals is September 30, 2026.
