Η Ελληνική Αστρονομική Εταιρεία (ΕΛ.ΑΣ.ΕΤ.), σε συνεργασία με το Εθνικό Αστεροσκοπείο Αθηνών (ΕΑΑ) και το Εθνικό και Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών (ΕΚΠΑ), στα πλαίσια πρωτοβουλίας για την προσφορά γνώσης και επιστημονικής κατάρτισης προς τα νεώτερα μέλη, τους μεταπτυχιακούς φοιτητές και τους νέους μεταδιδακτορικούς ερευνητές της, διοργανώνει στην Αθήνα το Δεύτερο Θερινό Σχολείο με τίτλο: "Δραστηριότητα γαλαξιακών πυρήνων", από τις 11 έως τις 15 Ιουλίου 2016.
