Conference Venue

The 9th Conference of Hel.A.S. will take place at the amphitheater "Aristoteles" at the Faculty of Physics of the University of Athens. In the larger version of the map indicated above, a number of bus stops are also marked. To reach the Physics Bldg from the airport of Athens (ATH) you may take a taxi (fare ~20 Euros). From the harbour of Piraeus one may take the express bus E90 (Piraeus -> Panepistimioupoli). There are four such buses per day departing from Piraeus at 07;20, 11:00, 13:30 and 16:30. Other direct bus routes that reach the University are: 608 (Academy -> Nek. Zographou) and 250 (Panepistimioupoli -> Evaggelismos) both of which runing every 10-15 min. A University bus which goes around the campus is also available and passes from the main gate of the University every 15 min.

There are plenty of accomodation options in the Athens and conference participants are expected to make their own reservations.
