Applications are now open for two 2 to 3 year postdoctoral research positions and one PhD position at the Research Center for Astronomy and Applied Mathematics of the Academy of Athens to study the origin of astrophysical magnetic fields around accreting black holes. Applicants with previous experience in general relativistic numerical magnetohydrodynamics are particularly encouraged to apply. The positions have a starting date in the summer 2013, and will be funded by the “Excellence” program of the General Secretariat of Research and Technology. Applications should include a curriculum vitae, a brief statement of current and future research interests, and three letters of recommendation. Submission and inquires should be addressed to Dr. I.
