 7. AN APPENDIX TO HIPPARCHOS 1.7
 --------------------------------

A set of interesting web sites which provide a plethora of archived
solar data was not included in the section "Exploring the web with
Hipparchos" of the last issue of Hipparchos. Since many greek
astronomers work on solar physics, we present some of these siter here:

A good starting point of most available solar data is the:
         http://umbra.nascom.nasa.gov/

Details on SOHO data can be found at:
         http://sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov/data

while the TRACE mission data can be accessed via:
         http://vestige.lmsal.com/TRACE

We thank Dr. Vourlidas who brought these sites to our attention.
