We would like to congratulate Dr. Spyros Basilakos, a member of our Society, who was recently elected Research Director (Researcher A') at the Research Center for Astronomy and Applied Mathematics (RCAAM) of the Academy of Athens. We wish Dr. Basilakos every success in his new duties.

2. GREECE AND ESA LINK

Please be reminded to check the “Greece and ESA” link on our web-site regularly. ESA announcements with pressing deadlines (e.g. fellowiships) that cannot wait for the next newsletter are posted there. As announced in a previous newsletter, we plan to resolve this issue by upgrading the HelAS web-site accordingly.
