We would like to congratulate Konstantinos Antoniadis for successfully completing his PhD thesis entitled "The mass loss of red supergiants" at the Physics Department of the University of Athens under the supervision of Dr. Alceste Bonanos. The Society extends its best wishes to Dr. Antoniadis for further successes in his professional pursuits.

| 2. A&A Awards 2026 |
| The Board of Directors of Astronomy & Astrophysics (A&A) attributes two yearly Awards for outstanding research published in A&A by individuals in the initial stages of their careers. With these two Awards, the Board aims to recognise and contribute to the enthusiasm of the new generation of researchers who will shape the future of astronomy for decades to come. | 3. ACME Centres of Expertise: Remote Tutorials and Hands-On Sessions |
We would like to inform our members about a series of remote tutorials and hands-on sessions organized over the next three months by multi-messenger experts from the Astrophysics Centre for Multimessenger studies in Europe (ACME) project - Joint Centres of Expertise. These sessions aim to provide participants with introductory knowledge and practical exercises in observational techniques, data analysis, and theoretical software packages and tools in the multi-messenger context.

- Registration is required up to five days prior to each event.
