 1. MEMBERS IN NEW POSITIONS
 ---------------------------

   We would like to congratulate Dr. Manolis Plionis who was recently
 promoted to Researcher B' (EREYNHTHS B') at the Institute of Astronomy
 and Astrophysics of the National Observatory of Athens.

   We would also like to congratulate Dr. Manolis Xilouris currently at
 CEA/Saclay, France who was recently elected to the position of
 Researcher D' (EREYNHTHS D') at the Institute of Astronomy and
 Astrophysics of the National Observatory of Athens.
