1. PROCEEDINGS OF THE 6th HELLENIC ASTRONOMICAL CONFERENCE
-----------------------------------------------------------
As a reminder to the participants of the 6th Hel.A.S. conference,
the deadline for the submission of contributions to the proceedings is
extended to December 15th, 2003. Participants are asked to submit
contributions to Prof. P. Laskarides (cc. to the convenor of the
respective session) in word format.
2. EUGENIDES FOUNDATION PLANETARIUM REOPENS
-------------------------------------------
The planetarium of Eugenides Foundation in Athens opened again its
doors to the general public on November 3rd, 2003. After a major
upgrade that lasted a few years the new planetarium is completely
digital, has a dome three times larger in surface than the old one,
and it can accomodate nearly 300 spectators. For more information

The next Joint European and National Astronomy Meeting, entitled
"The many scales in the Universe", will take place in Granada, Spain
